Our physiotherapist Sabine Nave trained with the Australian Physiotherapy and Pilates Institute (APPI) and offers 1-to-1 or 1-to-2 Clinical Pilates sessions. Clinical Pilates is a modified form of traditional Pilates, specifically geared to help you recover from injury. Sabine can tailor your Pilates exercises to suit your specific needs whilst reducing the risk of pain provocation.
"I would like to say thank you for treatment and kindness during my recent prolapsed disc problem. My problem was diagnosed on the first visit, something my GP had been unable to do, the treatment was planned individually for me and I have been shown the exercises that should help to prevent a relapse. Now, after your treatment my back feels better and more flexible than it has done for years."
"I cannot praise the backpain clinic enough. ... My confidence in the team, although working closely with Mario and Jacob, has never faltered from that first meeting. Having a chronic condition, it has taken both time and effort to improve, but the kindness, care and professionalism they have shown throughout has been quite incredible. The techniques they use are gentle yet very effective, and quite literally, they have given me my back and my life back!"
"I owe enormous thanks to the W6 Physiotherapy. Mine was a difficult case following a high fall resulting in disc problems and lower back pain. My treatment was entirely successful and I am now able to lead a normal life again."
With thorough assessment, investigation and considered intervention we can ensure the maximization of comfort and a speedy recovery.
We broadly utilise the Maitland technique for both the assessment and treatment of anyone coming through our doors. This concept of physiotherapy involves continual evaluation and reassessment of movement, symptoms and intervention to ensure the most effective management of your condition. This specific way of thinking allows appropriate treatments to be tailored to our patient’s needs, to optimize individual results.
The combination of manual therapy techniques in addition to our vast knowledge in rehabilitation, strengthening and injury prevention has successfully restored function and pain free movement to many injured and symptomatic clients.

Our patients come from all walks of life and age groups and often return to us for help with different conditions. Some patients self-fund their physiotherapy treatment, as they feel for a relatively small outlay they can gain relief without the need for pain medication or even where it has failed. Other patients come to us with private medical insurance.
